PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a singular point orientation device capable of orientating a singular point such as a fault point even within a near end section.SOLUTION: A singular point orientation device orients a singular point by comparing a transmission wave with a reflection wave of the transmission wave reflected at the singular point where impedance is changed. A frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) is applied as the transmission wave where a frequency is continuously changed. The singular point is oriented on the basis of difference between frequencies of the transmission wave and the reflection wave.
