<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a heavy load, which is improved in an anti-pebble biting performance at a groove intersecting part where a main groove and a lateral groove intersect.SOLUTION: A shoulder main groove 12 is alternately equipped with a long side part 12a and a short side part 12b inclined reversely of the long side part 12a and having a tire circumferential length shorter than that of the long side part 12a. A shoulder lateral groove 41 joints across the short side part 12b to the shoulder main groove 12. A first extension line 41e, which is extended from one groove edge of the shoulder lateral groove 41 to the side of the shoulder main groove 12, intersects the groove edge of the long side part 12a at a first intersection point CP1, and a second extension line 41f, which is extended from the other groove edge of the shoulder lateral groove 41 to the side of the shoulder main groove 12, intersects the groove edge of the long side part 12a at a second intersection point CP2. The ratio L2/L1 of the distance L1 in the tire circumferential direction between the first intersection point CP1 and the second intersection point CP2 and the length L2 of the short side part 12b in the tire circumferential direction is 0.08 to 0.25.</p> |
