<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device which is less likely to cause operational failures even if highly viscous liquid is spilt.SOLUTION: A key switch device 100 comprises a switch SW having: an operable key top 1; a contact member capable of switching an electrical connection in accordance with the operation of the key top 1; and an elastic member for biasing the key top 1. The key top 1 has a first lateral face 1a which is formed by planar surface parallel to the vertical direction. An opposite member OP aligned with the key top 1 has a second lateral face OPa which is formed by planar surface parallel to the vertical direction. The key top 1 and the opposite member OP are arranged such that the first lateral face 1a and the second lateral face OPa are opposed to each other with a small gap defined therebetween. At least one of the first lateral face 1a and the second lateral face OPa is provided with a liquid flow guide part LG which is arranged to extend downward.</p> |
