<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an increase in folders without any need for a deletion operation by a user.SOLUTION: A multifunction machine (100) applying a file management device includes: a storage section (7) for storing a file stored in a folder; a folder generation section (61) that, when causing the storage section (7) to store a new file, generates a folder for storing the new file; a number-of-folder determination section (62) that, when the folder is generated, determines whether or not the total number of folders stored in the storage section (7) reaches a predetermined upper limit value of the folders; a file movement section (63) that, when it is determined that the total number of folders reaches the upper limit value of the folders, moves the file stored in a specific folder to another folder on the basis of a prescribed condition; and a folder deletion section (64) that deletes the folder in which no file to be stored is left by the movement of the file by the file movement section (63).</p> |
