<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faster manufacture of battery gaskets, without degrading mechanical properties of the battery gaskets.SOLUTION: A gasket for a battery is made of a polyamide composition including at least 70 wt.% of a polyamide X.Y, where X and Y represent respective residues from the condensation of an aliphatic diamine comprising 4 to 18 carbon atoms, and preferably 5 to 12 carbon atoms, with a cyclo(aliphatic) diacid including 10 to 18 carbon atoms. The polyamide composition further includes a nucleating agent.</p> |
