PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary equipment rotor capable of achieving weight reduction by using a fiber-reinforced composite material, and avoiding damage.SOLUTION: A rotary equipment rotor 33 according to an embodiment is provided in a casing 31 and rotatably supported by bearings 60a and 60b. The rotary equipment rotor 33 includes: a rotor main body 33a formed out of a fiber-reinforced composite material; and a metallic ring 80 provided on an outer circumference of the rotor main body 33a at least partially in an axial direction and formed annularly out of a metallic material. The metallic ring 80 is placed at a position opposing the bearings 60a and 60b.
