The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for generating a structure of a table in images. The method for generating a structure of a table in images includes the steps of: extracting lines constituting a table among connection elements constituting the images; determining crossing points of the lines by using a crossing point of a function matched with the lines; determining one of a plurality of crossing point models discriminated in a form of the crossing point corresponding to a crossing point of the lines; and generating data with respect to the table including at least one cell determined by using the determined crossing point model.
