PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate and a station service system capable of performing a next entry/exit process even if an entry/exit process fails in writing entry/exit information.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an automatic ticket gate includes a reading unit, a decision unit, an identification unit, a determination unit, and a passage control unit. The reading unit reads information recorded in a recording medium presented by a user. The decision unit decides whether entry/exit information read from the recording medium by the reading unit is correct. The identification unit identifies entry/exit information indicating user's entry or exit using the recording medium if the decision unit decides that the read entry/exit information is not correct. The determination unit determines whether to permit user's entry/exit on the basis of the identified entry/exit information if the identification unit successfully identifies the entry/exit information. The passage control unit controls passage of the user according to a result of determining whether to permit user's exit by the determination unit. |
