PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap type permanent magnet synchronous motor which reduces electric corrosion of a bearing.SOLUTION: An axial gap type permanent magnet synchronous motor includes: two rotors 20 which respectively rotate around axes; a stator 30 which is disposed so as to be sandwiched by the two rotors in an axial direction; a bearing 13; a case housing 40 which fixes the stator with an insulation resin; an end bracket 12 which holds the bearing and fully closes the stator and the rotors; a fan 10 which is disposed at an axial end part of the end bracket; and a brush 3 which contacts with the axial end surface of the fan. The axial end surface of the fan is formed by an alloy containing copper. The brush includes carbon. Further, the axial gap type permanent magnet synchronous motor includes a compression mechanism which compresses the brush on the axial end surface of the fan.
