<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification device using face authentication, capable of accurately and certainly performing personal identification by pre-registering a plurality of pieces of face data and always allowing automatic update to a latest face image.SOLUTION: A personal identification device using face authentication includes: a human sensor actuated by approaching of a face; imaging means started by the actuation of the human sensor; a liquid crystal screen displaying a face image obtained from the imaging means; registration means pre-registering face data for being collated with the face image of the liquid crystal screen; and a CPU collating the face data of the registration means and the face image obtained from the imaging means, and outputting an authentication permission signal when identity is confirmed. The registration means can register a plurality of pieces of face data, and replaces the face data having a lowest authentication threshold value of the registered face data with the latest face data obtained at the time of the collation. The personal identification device can accurately and certainly perform personal identification.</p> |
