<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and a method for driving an inkjet head, capable of maintaining or suppressing the speed difference between the large and small droplets accompanying the change of a drive voltage value.SOLUTION: There are provided an inkjet recording device and a method for driving an inkjet head enabling selective input to a piezoelectric element, of a large droplet driving pulse which includes the first and second expansion and contraction pulse elements and has the pulse widths of a first contraction and second expansion pulse elements of 0.46-0.63AL and 0.75-1AL, respectively, and of a small droplet driving pulse which includes the first expansion, first contraction and second expansion pulse elements and has the pulse widths of the first contraction and second expansion pulse elements of 0.35-0.54AL and 0.2-0.6AL, respectively when discharging an ink from a nozzle 23 by deforming the wall 27 of a pressure chamber 28 by the piezoelectric element.</p> |
