PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening material capable of holding mycorrhizal fungi in higher density than conventional ones, and stably exhibiting excellent effect even when used in soil.SOLUTION: A greening material is formed by holding any one or more strains of Suillus granulatus strain 1140-TK44 (NITE AP-01658) of family Boletaceae, Lyophyllum fumosum strain 273-TS49 (NITE AP-01659) of family Tricholoma and KANSO-19 strain of genus Glomus, which are ectomycorrhizal fungi or Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, to plant carbide having pH of 5.0 to 8.0 obtained by adding an acid liquid.
