摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide; an anisotropic transmittance member which has transmittance that varies depending on an incident angle of light and exhibits superior light transmissivity in the frontal direction; a manufacturing method for the same; and a display device having the same.SOLUTION: An anisotropic transmittance member includes; a concavo-convex structure layer having a concavo-convex surface which comprises micro protrusions arrayed at an average pitch of no greater than 300 nm and micro protrusion assemblies, each comprising adjacent micro protrusions merged together, where the percentage of the number of micro protrusions constituting the micro protrusion assemblies is more than 25% and no more than 75% of the total number of micro protrusions obtained by adding the number of micro protrusions that constitute the micro protrusion assemblies and the number of micro protrusions that do not constitute the micro protrusion assemblies, and which has an average micro protrusion pitch of no less than 200 nm and no greater than the shortest wavelength in the visible light band when each of the micro protrusion assemblies is counted as one micro protrusion; and a visible light-transmitting metallic thin film which is provided on the concavo-convex surface side of the concavo-convex structure layer and has a shape that follows protrusions and recesses of the concavo-convex surface.
