PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a program error due to the mismatch in content between a program read out from first memory and a program written in second memory from the first memory.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus including first memory storing a program for executing specific processing, and second memory storing a program read out from the first memory, when the image forming apparatus is shifted to a specific state, verifies the content of the program stored in the second memory. The image forming apparatus performs control to write the program read out from the first memory in the second memory on the basis of a result of the verification. |
