PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand prediction apparatus and a program capable of collecting other company prices that are commercial product sales prices of competitor companies to be used for prediction calculation of a purchase quantity.SOLUTION: A demand prediction apparatus includes: an input receiving unit that, while displaying an edit screen having a data display area for displaying special sales project data including fluctuation factors of a purchase quantity that is a target variable related to a special sales project and unit purchase achievement data including commercial product information associated with the special sales project data on an external device, receives edition of the fluctuation factors of the special sales project data displayed on the data display area; a data aggregate unit collecting the other company prices that are sales prices of commercial products of competitor companies from electronic information including the other company prices, and storing the collected other company prices as the fluctuation factors in a storage unit; and a predicted purchase quantity calculation unit executing prediction calculation of a purchase quantity for the unit purchase achievement data in accordance with the edited special sales project data via the input receiving unit for the fluctuation factors including the other company prices collected by the data aggregate unit. |
