<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for development assistance by an automatic program generation device capable of confirming a GUI layout with any timing during development work by correlating a program logic and GUI layout to one and the same input/output definition, and capable of improving development efficiency by eliminating the need for correcting the correspondence between the program logic and GUI layout even when either of the two is edited.SOLUTION: In order to automatically generate a program, the present invention is provided with an item list tab for performing item list definition pertaining to program logic in text format and a layout tab for performing the layout definition of a display screen in graphical format. When the layout tab, while being display, is switched to the item list tab, the latest state of the layout definition drawn on the layout tab is converted into the item list definition and stored as the latest item list definition. Furthermore, the item list tab is selected and the latest item list definition is displayed.</p> |
