<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small optical device that can reduce a spot diameter of emission light to suppress the occurrence of a coupling loss with an optical element, multiplex a plurality of light, and uniformize an intensity distribution of the emission light.SOLUTION: The optical device comprises a tapered optical path 1 having gradients 3, 4 and expanding in a light propagation direction D, and a large diameter optical path 5 provided outside the gradient 3,4 and having a refractive index smaller than that of the optical path 1, and functions as a mechanism for propagating light in the optical path 1.</p> |
