<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote discharge of scale produced in electrolysis to suppress occurrence of residue of scale on the bottom surface in a container.SOLUTION: An electrolyzer 41 includes a container 47 having a water inlet 43 and a water outlet 45, a plurality of electrodes 51 and 52 provided in the container 47, a suction passage 62 which is provided with a pump 61 and allows a part of water passing through the electrodes 51 and 52 to enter, and selection means 70 of selecting at least one operation mode between a circulation operation of returning water discharged from the pump 61 to the upstream side of the container 47 and a discharge operation of discharging water discharged from the pump 61.</p> |
