<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater that can remove silicone included in cosmetic items, etc.SOLUTION: A water heater 1 includes: a burner 3 for burning fuel; an air blower 4 for supplying combustion air to the burner 3; a combustion chamber 5 that has a heat exchanger 6 for exchanging heat with combustion gas generated through combustion of the burner 3 to heat water; an exhaust passage 9 communicated with the combustion chamber 5 to make the combustion gas that has undergone the heat exchange by using the heat exchanger 6 flow; exhaust temperature detection means 11 disposed in the exhaust passage 9 to detect a temperature of the combustion gas that has passed through the heat exchanger 6; a case body 2 that serves as an exterior casing incorporating these components; and an air inlet 25 that is disposed in the case body 2 to take in outside air to inside of the case body 2 as combustion air. When the temperature detected by the exhaust temperature detection means 11 is a preset predetermined temperature or higher, notification of an abnormality is performed or in addition to the notification of the abnormality, combustion of the burner 3 is stopped. A filter 29 for adsorbing silicone in the combustion air is disposed in the middle of an air supply path for supplying combustion air to the air blower 4.</p> |
