The purpose of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery having excellent thermal stability owing to the application of two or more electrode active materials according to thermal characteristics. The present invention provides a secondary battery comprising a cathode and an anode having electrode active materials applied onto current collectors, wherein the cathode or the anode includes two or more kinds of electrode active materials, and the two kinds of electrode active materials are applied onto the current collectors in different concentration distributions with respect to an electrode terminal according to the thermal characteristics of the electrode active materials.
