PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a passbook according to a using condition of a user.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device comprises an insertion unit, a detection unit, an issuance unit, and a control unit. The insertion unit receives insertion of a passbook. The detection unit detects a magnetic level of a magnetic stripe on the inserted passbook. The issuance unit issues a first passbook having a first magnetic stripe and a second passbook having a second magnetic stripe having magnetic coercive force higher than that of the first magnetic stripe. The control unit controls to make the issuance unit issue the second passbook when a magnetic level smaller than a threshold value is detected by the detection unit. |
