PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall unit capable of securing the heat insulation effect and fire resistance performance of a building, and capable of increasing efficiency in construction work.SOLUTION: An outer wall unit 1 of the building of installing an outer wall 20 on the outdoor side of a skeleton column 10, comprises a fire resistance material 40 for covering an outer surface of the skeleton column 10 and a heat insulation reinforcement material 50 installed between the skeleton column 10 and the outer wall 20. The fire resistance material 40 comprises a reverse surface covering part 41 for covering a reverse surface part and both side surface parts of the skeleton column 10 and a pair of surface covering parts 44 respectively continuously extending from both end parts on the outer wall 20 side of the reverse surface covering part 41 and partially covering a surface part of the skeleton column 10. At least a part of the heat insulation reinforcement material 50 is compressed by the fire resistance material 40.
