PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condition for making in-plane brightness of light emitted by an illuminating device uniform.SOLUTION: An illuminating device 1 comprises: light sources 2 opposed to each other and having a predetermined radiation characteristic; a reflection plate 3 for mirror-reflecting light radiated from the light sources 2; and a light direction control plate 4 that is opposed to the reflection plate 3, on which direct light 21 obtained by making light radiated from the light source 2 directly incident, and reflection light 22 obtained by reflecting the light radiated from the light sources 2 by the reflection plate 3 and making it incident are incident, and that emits the light to a side opposite to the reflection plate 3. The light source 2 and the reflection plate 3 are provided so that illumination distribution on the light direction control plate 4 due to the reflection light 22 reaches a peak at a center. |
