<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive application unit which can surely apply an adhesive to a label and does not cause adhesion of the adhesive to an outer peripheral surface of a sticking drum.SOLUTION: An adhesive application unit includes a non-contact type adhesive applicator 10 having a discharge head 11 for discharging an adhesive, and a transfer part 20 arranged between the discharge head 11 of the adhesive applicator 10 and a sticking drum 4b. The adhesive discharged from the discharge head 11 of the adhesive applicator 10 is applied to a label L sucked and retained on an outer peripheral surface of the sticking drum 4b through the transfer part 20. The transfer part 20 includes a rotary body 21 having an approximately cross shape in a plan view and having a plurality of transfer surfaces 22 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a virtual cylindrical body cd whose axis is a rotation axis ra parallel to a rotary axis of the sticking drum 4b. The transfer surfaces 22 rotate while sequentially pressing the edge of the label L sucked and retained at a predetermined position on the outer peripheral surface of the sticking drum 4b.</p> |
