PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a recording medium such as a parking ticket so as to allow a user, without increasing costs, to easily grasp a discount amount and discount time of a parking fee according to a usage state of a facility.SOLUTION: A medium processing device 1 includes an operation unit 4, a magnetic head 29, a thermal head 30, and a total data calculation unit 38. The operation unit 4 inputs a new purchase amount in a facility. The magnetic head 29 is controlled to write the new purchase amount written by the operation unit 4 to a parking ticket 12, and read a past purchase amount which has been written to the parking ticket 12 before the new purchase amount. The total data calculation unit 38 calculates a total purchase amount on the basis of the new purchase amount and the past purchase amount, and further calculates total discount data on the basis of the total purchase amount. The thermal head 30 is controlled to print the total purchase amount and the total discount data calculated by the total data calculation unit 38. |
