PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine which can improve a gas hit to an exhaust sensor more than a convenience device.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 1 of an engine comprises: an air-fuel ratio sensor 14 having a detection element 142 which is arranged at an exhaust pipe 13 of the engine, and detects a component in an exhaust gas, and a cover 143 which covers the detection element 142, and is formed with a plurality of exhaust gas introduction holes 144, 144; and protrusions 101, 102 which are arranged at a flange part 10 at the upstream side rather than the exhaust pipe 13 in which the air-fuel ratio sensor is arranged, protrude into an exhaust gas passage, and rectify the exhaust gas. In the air-fuel ratio sensor 14, at least a part of one of a plurality of the exhaust gas introduction holes 144, 144 is arranged in a visible position in a view of cross sections S1 to S4 which are orthogonal to flow directions X1 to X4 of main flows of the exhaust gases flowing from branch pipes 122a to 122d to the flange part 10. |
