PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement terminal and a settlement terminal program with which settings can be updated without imposing a burden on a user.SOLUTION: A settlement terminal includes an input/output unit that inputs and outputs information, a card reader that reads information from cards, a printer that forms images on recording media, a communication unit that performs communication, a log file that stores communication logs, and a control unit that transmits, when VPN connection with any one of a server connected via the communication unit and a settlement server performing settlement is determined to have been failed, the communication logs to one of the servers after the establishment of the VPN connection with the server. |
