<p>A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) with a backlight assembly includes a liquid crystal (“LC”) panel displaying an image, a backlight assembly providing light to the LC panel, a middle frame disposed between the LC panel and the backlight assembly, and a top frame to complete the LCD assembly. The backlight assembly includes a plurality of light sources, an optical member, a bottom frame and a plurality of optical member supporters. The optical member supporters each support the optical member and are mutually spaced apart from each other to effectively dissipate heat and reduce the weight of the LCD.</p> |
