PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain water treatment system and method for adsorbing and removing cationic components containing sodium ions in city water, in a fuel cell system including a fuel processing device producing fuel hydrogen of a fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: In the water treatment system of a fuel cell system configured to reduce the load of a cation exchange resin installed in a line for supplying from a drain water tank to a fuel cell stack and a fuel processing device, by including the fuel processing device, the fuel cell stack, a stack cooling water tank T, and a water treatment device, and arranging a city water supply line, where a container filled with the cation exchange resin B is arranged, in the drain tank, and adsorbing and removing the cationic components containing the sodium ions in city water by means of the cation exchange resin B, overflow of the water in the stack cooling water tank T is passed to the container filled with the cation exchange resin B arranged in a city water supply line S. |
