<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburized component exhibiting strong jointing force between the carburized component and a mating member by being pressure welded to the mating member satisfactorily, and a steel for carburized component used therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided the carburized component is composed of a steel containing, by mass%, C:0.10 to 0.30%, Si:0.40 to 3.00%, Mn:0.30 to 3.00%, P:0.030% or less, S:0.030% or less, Cu:0.01 to 1.00%, Ni:0.01 to 3.00%, Cr:0.30 to 3.00% and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and satisfying the following formula (1) and formula (2). The carburized component is manufactured by vacuum carburization of the steel and jointing the steel to a mating member by pressure welding.
