<p>A heating system (1) comprises: a heat medium tank (11) for storing a heat medium heated by a heat pump (31) using snow melting power as power; a circulation flow path (13) for circulating the heat medium via first heat exchangers (45, 46) heated by a combustion operation of a burner (44), and heating terminals (5H, 5L); and a bypass flow path (24) for bypassing the heat medium tank (11) so as to flow the heat medium. When it is determined that a normal operation of the heat pump (31) cannot be performed by disruption of provision of snow melting power, the heating system controls a flow adjustment valve (23) of the bypass flow path (24) so as to flow heating medium via the bypass flow path (24), not the heat medium tank (11).
