PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device that can prevent degradation of communication service quality in even millimeter wave communication.SOLUTION: A radio communication device for communicating with at least one radio station by using an EDCA system has a channel state determining unit for determining a time-based utilization state in a competition band of a communication channel used between the radio communication device and the radio station, a terminal occupation time calculator for classifying the competition band of the communication channel into one of a self-terminal occupation time, another-terminal occupation time and an idle time on the basis of the determination result of the channel state determining unit and calculating the other-terminal occupation time, a communication amount measuring unit for measuring the reception amount of data from the radio station for the other-terminal occupation time calculated by the terminal occupation time calculator, a parameter adjusting unit for adjusting an EDCA parameter set to be used in the EDCA system on the basis of the communication amount measured by the other-terminal occupation time and the communication amount measuring unit, and a parameter renewing unit for renewing to an EDCA parameter set which has been renewed by the parameter adjusting unit. |
