PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a power output device capable of stably and promptly starting a vehicle, while reducing the burden of second connecting/disconnecting means.SOLUTION: A control device for a power output device includes: an internal combustion engine; an electric motor; a power storage portion for supplying power to the electric motor; a first transmission portion connected to the internal combustion engine through a first connecting/disconnecting portion, and capable of selecting a gear by a first synchronizer; and a second transmission portion connected to the internal combustion engine through a second connecting/disconnecting portion, and capable of selecting a gear by a second synchronizer. The power of the internal combustion engine and/or the electric motor is inputted in the first transmission portion, and the power of the internal combustion engine is inputted in the second transmission portion. First speed traveling and EV traveling are carried out through the first transmission portion, and second speed traveling is carried out through the second transmission portion. When the first connecting/disconnecting portion is fastened during stopping of a vehicle and the vehicle is started from a state charged by the electric motor, the second connecting/disconnecting portion is fastened between a complete fastening state and a complete cut-off state to cut off the first connecting/disconnecting portion, thereby carrying out second speed starting assisted by the power from the electric motor. At that time, the output of the electric motor is increased, and the output of the internal combustion engine is decreased. |
