PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely rescue passengers in respective cages by preventing a shutting-in accident during rescue operation.SOLUTION: An elevator with a between-floors adjustment function includes monitoring devices 53, 54 which monitor floor-landing state of respective cages, and stops operation when deviation occurs from a predetermined door-open travel protection zone while a door is opened at respective floors, a rescue operation section 55a which performs rescue operation when a between-floors adjustment function is abnormal, to make respective cages land on a rescue floor for door-opening, and a function shutting-down part 55b which, while rescue operation is being made, shuts down function of the monitoring devices 53, 54 for a cage other than the cage whose door is being opened at the rescue floor among the cages. |
