<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both stable and sure entrance property of a movable side rope gripping shoe and gripping performance of a governor rope, with no increase in size of a governor nor becoming more complex.SOLUTION: A grip spring 26 of a rope grip mechanism of a governor has double spring characteristics, that is, a low spring constant characteristic in a first compression stroke until drawn to a drawing-in complete position where a movable side rope grip 24 contacts to a governor rope 10 and is drawn to start gripping of a rope with a fixed side rope grip 22, and a high spring constant characteristic in a second compression stroke until completion after start of gripping of the governor rope 10.</p> |
