The present invention relates to an apparatus for clamping a strip. The apparatus for clamping a strip comprises: a base frame; a clamp movably coupled to an upper portion of the base frame, fixating the strip; a first cylinder and a second cylinder including a cylinder main body having an internal space and a piston rod having one end connected to the clamp, where a piston capable of moving around the internal space is installed in the other end thereof while being fixated and installed respectively on both sides of the base frame; a first pump and a second pump connected respectively to the first cylinder and the second cylinder, transferring the clamp to a predetermined position by introducing a fluid into the internal space of the first and second cylinders or discharging the fluid from the internal space; and a control unit controlling the speed of the fluid introduced into or discharged from the first and second cylinders by driving the first and second pumps in order for a variation in displacement of the piston rod in the first and second cylinders to be a predetermined value or less. |
