<p>PURPOSE: A method of mapping pilot sequence in wireless communication system is provided to reduce interference effect of pilot channel due to MIMO operation in the neighboring cell. CONSTITUTION: A pilot sequence mapping method is as follows in the wireless telecommunication system. A mapping rule for mapping the pilot sequence in the pilot mapping unit consisting of plural OFDM symbols and subcarriers are established. According to the mapping rule, the pilot sequence is mapped in the pilot mapping unit. The mapping rule includes the OFDM symbol directivity and subcarrier directivity in the pilot mapping unit.</p> |
