PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in a case of performing an operation starting an area, in which an operation is invalidated, as a starting point on a touch panel.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a detection unit and a correction unit. The detection unit detects coordinates of a touch position on a touch panel. The correction unit stores the coordinates in a storage unit if the coordinates detected by the detection unit are present in an invalidation area that is an area in which an operation using the coordinates on the touch panel is invalidated. The correction unit corrects the coordinates to the coordinates stored in the storage unit if the coordinates detected by the detection unit moves from the invalidation area to another area in which the operation is validated. |
