<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic monitoring device capable of early estimating a communication application related to a traffic flow with accuracy.SOLUTION: A traffic monitoring device comprises: holding means holding a value from flow start for a plurality of kinds of feature amounts, with respect to a monitoring target flow; prediction means, in a case where the last value of the feature amount values held by the holding means is a feature amount value at an early stage from the flow start, predicting a feature amount value at the time when packets of a predetermined packet number arrive on the basis of the feature amount value held by the holding means; and estimation means verifying a set of the plurality of kinds of feature amount values preliminarily registered for each type of the communication application and a set of the plurality of kinds of feature amount values including the feature amount value predicted by the prediction means, and estimating the kind of the communication application related to the monitoring target flow.</p> |
