PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of corrosive components such as nitric acid and sulfuric acid in a low-temperature tank at a time of opening the low-temperature tank.SOLUTION: A low-temperature tank opening method includes: a dew condensation determining step of determining whether a temperature of an inner wall surface of a low-temperature tank is a temperature at which dew condensation is generated by introduction of outdoor air; an inert gas temperature increasing step of supplying inert gas into the low-temperature tank to increase an internal temperature of the low-temperature tank and moving to the dew condensation determining step again if it is determined that the dew condensation is generated in the dew condensation determining step; and an outdoor air temperature increasing step of supplying the outdoor air into the low-temperature tank to increase the internal temperature of the low-temperature tank if it is determined that the dew condensation is not generated in the dew condensation determining step.
