<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator having the decorativeness of appearance and reliability thereof improved by installing a metal vapor deposition layer on the front surface plate of a door. To achieve the purpose, the present invention comprises: a front surface plate (7) of a door having the transparent property of the front surface of the door (2a) of a storage chamber; a base plate (15) installed behind the front surface plate (7) of a door; a manipulation part (9) on the front surface of the front surface plate (7) of a door; a detection part (14) connected to the base plate (15), installed behind the manipulation part (9) and contacting with or neighboring on the rear surface of the front surface plate (7) of a door to detect change in capacitance; a display part (10) for displaying the manipulation result of the manipulation part (9); a lighting device (13a) for irradiating the display part (10) from behind; a control part for controlling the lighting device (13a) based on the detection result of the detection part (14); a metal vapor deposition layer (7b) on the rear surface of the front surface plate (7) of a door; a color paint layer (7c) installed to avoid the rear projection position of the display part (10) on the rear surface of the metal vapor deposition layer (7b); a transparent paint layer (7d) installed to cover the metal vapor deposition layer (7b) on the rear surface of the display part (10). The transparent paint layer (7d) covers end parts around the display part (10) of the color paint layer (7c).</p> |
