PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light extraction efficiency to effectively utilize light emitted in an organic EL element.SOLUTION: The light extraction efficiency is improved without increasing current by effectively utilizing waveguide light which is a loss factor of light emitted in the organic EL element. For that purpose, a level difference part is formed on an insulation layer formed on a lower layer of a first electrode having a light reflection surface and a peripheral edge region of the first electrode is formed so as to be touched to the level difference part. By the formation of the level difference part, a reflection surface bent to a second electrode side is formed in the peripheral edge region of the first electrode and light wave-guided in an organic EL layer is reflected on the reflection surface and radiated from the second electrode side. |
