PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an ion-exchange membrane having a high ion exchange capacity and a low water content, and capable of rapidly producing a membrane, and the ion-exchange membrane.SOLUTION: The method of producing an ion-exchange membrane includes the steps of: forming a polymer resin into a membrane, the polymer resin obtained by coating a substrate or a support with a composition containing at least one monomer having a (meth)acrylamide group, and photo-polymerizing by ultraviolet light irradiation; and thereafter introducing an ionic functional group to a functional group in the polymer resin or converting to an ionic functional group. The ion-exchange membrane is produced by the method. |
