PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of work during electric emergency operation which depends on skill of a maintenance operator, reduce burden of maintenance work, and improve efficiency of the maintenance work.SOLUTION: An electronic safety elevator comprises: an electric emergency operation switching switch 4 which implements a command for driving a car 105 as electric emergency operation; and a safety controller 1 which operates a brake 102 based on a signal showing that the electric emergency operation switching switch 4 is turned on and operation signals of plural safety devices 8, 9. In a case that any of the safety devices is operated to turn the electric emergency operation switching switch 4 on, the distance from the present position of the car to the nearest floor is determined, the position apart from the determined nearest floor by a specified distance is set as a position monitoring threshold value, the actuated safety device is turned invalid to start electric emergency operation, and the car 105 is stopped when the position of the car 105 exceeds the position monitoring threshold value. |
