PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device suppressing the progress of wear of a clutch.SOLUTION: An engine control device 100 according to an embodiment comprises: an information acquirement part 102 for acquiring output information showing the rotation speed of an output shaft 31 of an engine 2, input information showing the rotation speed of an input shaft 32 of a transmission 5 to which turning force of the output shaft 31 is transmitted via a clutch 4, and connection information showing that the clutch 4 is in a connected state; a detection part 104 for detecting a rotation speed difference between an engine 2 side and a transmission 5 side on the basis of comparison between the output information and the input information when the clutch 4 is in the connected state; a storage part 106 for storing detection information corresponding to the rotation speed difference; and a control part 108 for limiting output of the engine 2 not to make the rotation speed difference on the basis of the detection information. |
