摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide analysis of an amino acid sequence and a base sequence of a specific enzyme related to a biosynthetic pathway of polyisoprenoid in Solidago altissima which can be a stable supply source of natural rubber other than a mature tree of Hevea brasiliensis.SOLUTION: Protein of the present invention is any of A1 to A3: (A1) protein composed of a specific amino acid sequence; (A2) protein which is composed of the specific amino acid sequence in which one or plural amino acids are substituted, deleted, inserted, and/or added, and has enzyme activity catalyzing a reaction in which isopentenyl diphosphate and dimethylallyl diphosphate are used as substrates, or a reaction in which isopentenyl diphosphate and geranyl diphosphate are used as substrates; (A3) protein which is composed of an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of 80% or more with the specific amino acid sequence, and has enzyme activity catalyzing a reaction in which isopentenyl diphosphate and dimethylallyl diphosphate are used as substrates, or a reaction in which isopentenyl diphosphate and geranyl diphosphate are used as substrates.
