PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery having good cycle characteristics and good suitability for storage.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode mixture layer; a negative electrode; a separator; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes at least two kinds of lithium-containing transition metal oxides differing from each other in average particle diameter as positive electrode active materials. Of the at least two kinds of lithium-containing transition metal oxides differing from each other in average particle diameter, the lithium-containing transition metal oxide which is the largest in average particle diameter has a particular composition. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material consisting of graphite. The nonaqueous electrolyte includes 1,3-dioxane, compounds each having a nitrile group in its molecule and compounds of phosphonoacetates. |
