PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability based on the intuitive operation of a tablet type terminal by adding the input operation cooperated with the main input operation.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a display part which displays an information processing result; a contact detection part which detects the contact position on the display part; first area display means which displays a first area on the display part; second area display means which displays a second area divided into a predetermined number in the periphery of the first area in the display part while the contact to the first area is detected by the contact detection part; and processing execution means which executes processing corresponding to the coordinates in the second area where the termination of the contact is detected when the contact detection part detects the contact to the second area continuously from the contact to the first area and detects the termination of the contact in the second area.
