PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a purchaser to designate a visit date and time in advance, for effectively assisting sale of commodity or service at a shop for which visit is reserved.SOLUTION: A sale assisting server 14 acquires the reservation information which is the information representing reservation of visit of a purchaser to a shop of a seller, including a visit time, from a purchaser terminal 10. The image and visit time of a purchaser is notified to a shop terminal 12. The shop terminal 12 displays a selection screen which allows a seller to select an image of a purchaser when the purchaser buys commodity or service at the shop of the seller, and displays the image of the purchaser on the selection screen within a predetermined period including a visit time of the purchaser. The shop terminal 12 notifies the sale assisting server 14 of a settlement request for which the purchaser is specified, being selected by the seller on the selection screen. The sale assisting server 14 uses the information of the purchaser that is specified in the settlement request, to execute electronic settlement of the commodity or service charge.
