<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of improving reliability thereof.SOLUTION: An optical device includes: a lid 40 having a glass sheet 42 that reflects a part of a light flux emitted from a surface emitting laser array chip toward a photodiode element; and a seal ring 30 provided between a flat package and the lid 40 and welded with the lid 40. The lid 40 is set such that the value of B/A is within a range of 0.3-2.6 and the value of D/C is within a range of 1.2-2.7. The glass sheet 42 is tilted so as to cause a height difference in an a-axial direction, and, when the lid 40 is welded with the seal ring 30, two sides apart each other with respect to a b-axial direction are welded along the a-axial direction at first, and then two side apart each other with respect to the a-axial direction are welded along the b-axial direction.</p> |
